1. Agreement to These Terms

By using this website or engaging Cincinnati Hoarding Pros for services, you agree to these Terms of Service and to all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

2. Services We Provide

Cincinnati Hoarding Pros provides hoarding cleanup and biohazard remediation services including:

  • Hoarding and clutter cleanup across all five levels of the Clutter-Hoarding Scale
  • Biohazard and trauma scene cleanup
  • Unattended death and decomposition cleanup
  • Crime scene and suicide cleanup
  • Animal waste, rodent dropping, and hantavirus decontamination
  • Odor and cigarette smoke removal
  • Infection control and professional disinfection

Specialty extreme cleaning services, including traffic accident cleanup, tear gas and fingerprint dust cleanup, vehicle decontamination, and encampment cleanup, are available on request.

3. Estimates, Pricing, and Payment

Pricing is evaluated on a project basis. Estimates require either an on-site evaluation or photographs you submit, and both are provided free of charge. Cost is calculated based on the size of the property, the number of technicians required, the duration of labor, and the volume of biohazardous waste that must be disposed of at a contracted medical waste facility.

Moderate hoarding cleanups generally range between $3,000 and $10,000, and extreme cases involving severe structural damage or heavy biohazards can reach $25,000 or more. All prices are quoted in US dollars.

A small credit card deposit is required upfront, with the remaining balance billed later. Estimates are valid based on conditions observed at the time of assessment; if conditions differ materially once work begins, we will inform you and agree a revised scope before proceeding.

4. Insurance

Our services are frequently covered by homeowners, auto, and commercial insurance policies. We assist with claim coordination and can connect you to special programs that may cover up to $1,000 of cleaning costs plus other expenses. We do not guarantee that any particular claim will be approved, and the client remains responsible for the balance if a carrier declines coverage.

5. Scheduling and Cancellation

Emergency response is available 24 hours a day. For scheduled projects, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations after crews have been dispatched may be subject to a cancellation fee covering mobilization costs.

6. Property, Belongings, and Valuables

We sort items before removal and make a diligent effort to identify and set aside cash, jewelry, financial documents, photographs, and items of sentimental value, which are returned to the client. Final decisions about disposal, donation, or retention rest with the client or their authorized representative. We are not responsible for items disposed of at the client’s direction.

Some materials contaminated by biohazards cannot be safely salvaged and must be disposed of as regulated waste, regardless of their value. We will tell you when that is the case.

7. Service Standards

Work is performed in accordance with applicable OSHA standards, including the bloodborne pathogens standard, and EPA-registered disinfectant labeling. Where verification testing is part of the agreed scope, we provide post-remediation documentation on completion. If you are not satisfied with our work, contact us within 7 days and we will work with you to resolve it.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Cincinnati Hoarding Pros shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Cincinnati Hoarding Pros and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce it without written permission.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted to this page. The version in effect at the time you engage our services governs that engagement.
